Gladys Swanton is CENI’s Training Manager
and has worked with CENI for over four years. She has been involved
in the design and delivery of a range of training courses in monitoring
and evaluation for representatives of community, voluntary and statutory
organisations. This includes CENI’s ongoing programme of training
and support in self-evaluation for managers and staff from a range
of professional disciplines within Craigavon and Banbridge CHSS
Trust.
She has delivered customised training to funding programmes including
projects funded by PEACE II and Weak Community Infrastructure Programme.
Gladys holds a degee in Arts Humanities, a Masters of Social Science
(Lifelong Learning), a certificate in Teacher/Tutoring Practice,
and a certificate in Community Development. She has previously worked
with Funding agencies and a variety of voluntary/community organisations.
Joanne Templeton is CENI's Training and Development Officer
and joined staff in August 2005. Joanne holds a Masters
in Education from Open University along with a Postgraduate Certificate
and Diploma in Further & Higher Education. Joanne has worked
in the field of education since 1995 starting off tutoring and assessing
NVQ Level’s 2 and 3 in Early Years Education. Prior to this
she worked and is qualified to work in Early Years settings. In
addition she has designed, delivered and assessed training in Playwork,
Essential Skills and Volunteering and Volunteer Management. In her
current role, Joanne has responsibility for the delivery of CENI's
standard training courses, which include ‘Introducing Self
Evaluation’, ‘Getting the Most from External Evaluation’
and ‘Introducing Outcomes’.
