South Belfast. 20 hrs a week. Pattern of work negotiable.

NJC Scale 26-31,  £23,398 - £27,668 (pro rata)

To build on the work of the previous postholder and put own stamp to our new comms strategy

Community Evaluation Northern Ireland (CENI) supports organisations in the voluntary and community sector in Northern Ireland to demonstrate the difference their work makes to the lives of people and communities. We do this by helping organisations and funders to understand evaluation and impact practice and by developing tools to assess the impact of their projects and investments.  Our services include facilitation, training, consultancy and support.

We wish to recruit a Communications Officer to fill a vacancy which has recently arisen in the organisation.  The successful candidate will have an opportunity to build on the work undertaken by the previous postholder, and to take forward our new communications strategy.

Purpose of the job

To help build the profile and impact of CENI with key audiences through the further development of our communications strategy, and the effective use of communications tools.  At this time a key focus of the post is about the development and maintenance of relationships with key individuals within public and voluntary sectors.
