Do you want to hear about what other organisations achieved with our help the past year?

Another new year beckons, with new opportunities, new challenges and new energy. 2017 was a busy year on many fronts and we expect 2018 to be no different. Over the past year through our Inspiring Impact NI programme, we continued our support to 12 VCSE organisations across a range of sub-sectors in promoting and embedding good impact practice. Along with some financial support, we facilitated regular collaborative learning sessions which brought together representatives from all of these organisations to share and learn from each other.

In collaboration with the Charity Commission NI, we ran a series of autumn awareness sessions across the region on how good impact practice can help prepare organisations for their public benefit reporting requirements. Over 70 organisations took part and we will host additional sessions in 2018. If you would like us to run a free awareness session with a group, you can bring together do let us know and we can make arrangements.
Earlier in 2017, we produced a series of short animations to help explain impact practice, why it is important and where to get started.  Sit back and enjoy these here

Another key strand of our work has been to support government funding programmes with their impact practice and approach. This has involved working closely with personnel from a range of funding programmes to design, develop and implement outcomes focused programmes that align with the draft Programme for Government. Our role has been to act as an independent facilitator and critical friend in drawing out the real purpose of the programmes and joining the dots between the design, the implementation and the difference they are making.
